They are setting up a new Islamic Bank in the Republic of Djibouti and are searching for a French-speaking CEO for this business operation. The new bank will focus on retail and corporate banking services using a range of Sharia complaint products and is aiming to secure a significant market share. The CEO will take the leading role in the formation and development of this bank and will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategy, developing and maintaining relationships with various internal and external parties. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years senior level commercial banking experience, with a working knowledge of Islamic Banking solutions essential. Applicants MUST be fluent in French and English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
